1. About Our Services

United Legal Funding is a marketing and consumer-connection service. We connect consumers who have pending legal claims with our third-party funding partner ("Funding Partner"), which underwrites and provides pre-settlement funding. United Legal Funding does not itself underwrite, approve, or provide funding, and submitting an inquiry through this site does not create a funding agreement.

Pre-settlement funding is not a loan. Throughout this website, the term "loan" may be used for convenience to describe pre-settlement funding. Such transactions are not loans in the legal sense. They are non-recourse purchases of a portion of the potential proceeds of your legal claim. Repayment is strictly contingent upon the successful resolution of your case. If your case is unsuccessful, repayment is not required. In eligible cases and jurisdictions, a 2x cap may limit repayment to no more than twice the funded amount; the 2x cap may not be applicable for all types of cases and/or jurisdictions.

Funding timing and amounts. Funding is subject to approval. Most approved applicants receive funds within 24 business hours after a fully executed contract. Funding amounts (from $500 to $1,000,000) are based on case strength and expected value. Additional restrictions may apply.

It is not legal, financial, tax, or professional advice, and it is not a substitute for advice from a licensed attorney or financial professional. References to state laws, statutes, insurance minimums, or limitation periods are general information that may change and may not apply to your situation. Consult your attorney about your case.

3. Eligibility and Geographic Restrictions

To be considered for funding, you must be at least 18 years old, have a pending legal claim, and be represented by an attorney. Our Funding Partner does not currently provide funding to consumers residing in Arkansas, Georgia, Kentucky, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington, D.C., or West Virginia. Residents of the State of Connecticut are not eligible. We do not conduct business with residents of the European Union or United Kingdom; if you are a resident of the European Union or United Kingdom, do not use this site. Additional restrictions may apply and eligible jurisdictions may change without notice.

4. Applications and Consent to Be Contacted

By submitting your information through this site, you represent that the information is accurate and about yourself, and you consent to United Legal Funding and our Funding Partner contacting you about your inquiry by phone, text message (including autodialed and prerecorded messages), and email at the contact details you provide. Consent to be contacted is not a condition of receiving funding. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text message to opt out.

5. No Guarantee of Funding

Submission of an inquiry does not guarantee an offer of funding, and any funding decision, amount, and terms are made solely by our Funding Partner following its review, including verification of case details with your attorney. Any funding relationship is governed exclusively by the written funding agreement between you and the Funding Partner, not by this website or these Terms.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on this site, including text, graphics, logos, and design, is owned by or licensed to United Legal Funding and is protected by copyright and trademark law. You may view and print content for personal, non-commercial use only. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, republish, transmit, or create derivative works from site content, or use our name or logo, without prior written permission.

7. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to: submit false, misleading, or third-party information without authorization; interfere with or disrupt the site or its security features; attempt to gain unauthorized access to any systems or data; introduce viruses or other harmful code; scrape, harvest, or collect information about other users; or use the site for any unlawful purpose.

8. User Submissions

Other than personal information governed by our Privacy Policy, any communications or materials you transmit to us through the site may be used by us without restriction or compensation, and are treated as non-confidential.

9. Third-Party Websites

This site may link to third-party websites, including our Funding Partner's website. We do not control and are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of third-party sites, and a link does not imply endorsement.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

This site and its content are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, completeness, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, United Legal Funding and its owners, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from your use of this site or reliance on its content. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to this site or these Terms will not exceed one hundred dollars ($100).

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless United Legal Funding and its owners, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your violation of these Terms or misuse of the site.

13. Arbitration Agreement and Class Action Waiver

Please read this section carefully; it affects your legal rights. Any dispute arising out of or relating to this site or these Terms that cannot be resolved informally will be resolved by binding individual arbitration before a single arbitrator under the applicable rules of the American Arbitration Association, rather than in court, except that either party may bring an individual claim in small claims court. You and United Legal Funding each agree that claims may be brought only in an individual capacity, and not as a plaintiff or class member in any purported class, collective, or representative proceeding. You may opt out of this arbitration agreement by sending written notice to the contact address below within 30 days of first accepting these Terms. This section does not apply to any funding agreement between you and the Funding Partner, which contains its own dispute resolution terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Subject to the arbitration provision above, any permitted court proceedings shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Florida, and you consent to their jurisdiction.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms at any time by posting an updated version on this page with a revised effective date. Your continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
